CSU Bakersfield Distinguished Speaker Series
The purpose of the CSU Bakersfield Distinguished Speaker Series is to bring to the university and community distinguished individuals from around the world whose achievements have had national and/or international significance. The goal is to bring two speakers to campus each academic year.
The CSU Bakersfield Distinguished Speaker Series Advisory Committee is composed of campus and community members, along with Congressman Kevin McCarthy serving as an honorary member. As an alumnus, McCarthy continues to support his alma mater and community by collaborating with partners of the University to enhance its programs through initiatives such as the Distinguished Speaker Series.
CSUB is proud to announce and welcome to campus the next speaker in the series, J. Patrick Doyle, CEO, Domino's Pizza at 6pm on May 14, 2014 in the CSUB Amphitheater.
Please RSVP via email to RSVP@csub.edu if you wish to attend. The event is free and open to all. Parking is also free and can be found in lots A, B, and C. For more information, view the event flyer.
The series is a shining example of our commitment to excellence as we work to secure powerful partnerships that help move Kern County and the southern San Joaquin Valley forward.
